This kit is designed to convert the fittings in your R12 AC system to R134 in order to be able to charge your system. This kit includes 2 fittings:
•Low Side Elbow Adapter
•High Side Adapter
The low side adapter is provided with a elbow to allow you to service the system without interfering with the intake manifold. Installation requires that you remove your old schrader valves before installing the new fittings. It is recommended that the receiver drier be replaced at the same time, before being recharged. For best efficiency, we recommend you have your A/C system evacuated, vacuum sealed, and refilled by a trained technician, or using the appropriate equipment.
NOTE: It is a good idea to replace your receiver drier while performing this service. This will help the A/C system run free of any debris caught in the receiver drier filter. Enjoy!
