Fortune Auto engineers are consistently chasing improvement and the development of the Generation 8 - 500 series damper is no exception. The 500 Series single adjustable coilover is the entry into the Fortune Auto-verse. Utilizing the highly advanced, High Flow Digressive Piston to optimize the perfect balance between performance and comfort along with the ability to upgrade and rebuild; you‘ll never have to buy coilovers again.

Everyday Driveability Research on the racetrack has helped us develop the Fortune Auto 500 Series into a great all-around shock absorber. Using high quality components that meet our strict standards allows us to optimize comfort, reliability, and longevity. Occasional Track Use Digressive piston technology allows for stiff low-speed compression/rebound force. This gives more control of driver inputs such as roll, dive, and squat. However, at fast stroke speeds (i.e. high speed bumps) the suspension becomes supple in response to bumps and irregularities in the road for maximum control.
500
Series Coilovers are custom, hand-built to order. Most applications
have a 4-6 week lead time. Lead times for certain applications and peak
season orders may vary.
Limited spring rate options listed, if you have other custom spring rate preferences, please contact us at 678-290-7504 or email us at [email protected]
Considering the original equipment spring rates on the 90-05 Miata are around 162 lbs/in front, 115 lbs/in for the rear.
We recommend the following configuration for user appropriate applications:
Please call to inquire for Track only or street applications support. Vehicle weight, Mechanical grip and Aerodynamic grip are all important factors for selecting track only spring rates and valving.
Mechanical Grip: Tire size, tire compound and tire brand Aerodynamic Grip: Front splitters, canards, rear wings and rear diffusers
Optional Swift Springs Upgrade $250.00! Spring Upgrade? Why Swift Springs? Swift springs of Japan noticed that most spring manufacturers use old silicone chrome material, which is not strong enough for automotive springs. Other manufacturers use a heat tempering method that damaged the strength of the material that inevitably require more coils, in turn, more weight. The material was also suffering from a shortened life span. With springs like this leading the industry, Swift saw massive room for improvement. Swift's R & D team created material, called H5S.TW, which is stronger then regular silicone chrome material. Because of this material, Swift could make the spring wire thinner, and could wind the springs with fewer coils, which greatly decreased weight while dramatically increasing available stroke. In the end the choice is simple. Swift offers superior Duarbility, Stroke, Weight Savings, Suppleness and less coils producing less noise and coil binding
