Robbins Miata replacement tops incorporate 38 oz. Carbriolet grain vinyl incorporate the look and many quality improvements over the OEM top. These tops feature deck seems that run front to back, above the windows and layered flaps for support and sound deadening. Robbins tops are are simply superior than the original in every way. This Robbins Miata top is made in the style of the factory top. Standard material is Vinyl with a defroster glass window.

Note 1: Many years of replacing replacing Miata tops for shop customers has taught us that replacing the rain rail is usually a must, especially if the current one has been in service for over 5 years. Otherwise, we highly recommend inspecting your current rain rail for cracks to determine viability.

Note 2: The glass window design was manufactured by Mazda to fit the 2nd gen Miata [1999-2005]. Thus, 1st generation cars will require straps to be installed into the frame. Our experience has also shown that the Zipper Option offers best the top up and down performance for the 1990-1997 Miatas because original 1st gen frames are not spring loaded.
