Note 1: Many years of replacing replacing Miata tops for shop customers has taught us that replacing the rain rail is usually a must, especially if the current one has been in service for over 5 years. Otherwise, we highly recommend inspecting your current rain rail for cracks to determine viability.

Note 2: The glass window design was manufactured by Mazda to fit the 2nd gen Miata [1999-2005]. Thus, 1st generation cars will require straps to be installed into the frame. Our experience has also shown that the Zipper Option offers best the top up and down performance for the 1990-1997 Miatas because original 1st gen frames are not spring loaded.
